ESL Publishing (English as a Second Language Publishing) produces original ESL books developed by educators, that provide motivating and interesting historical content that keeps students engaged in learning English as a Second Language.

Workbooks offered by ESL Publishing build confidence in learning English as a Second Language through the use of common English idioms, vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking through the use of discussion and writing topics.

Jeane Slone

Jeane Slone is Vice President of the California Redwood Writer’s Club, a member of the Healdsburg Literary Guild, and a member of the Pacific Coast Air Museum and the National Women’s History Alliance.

SHE:

  • received the prestigious Jack London Award for service to Redwood Writer’s Club.
  • Is a tutor for the Library Literacy Program.

AUTHORS

 Brian Branca

Brian Branca has been living and teaching EFL in South Korea for the last seven years. During his time in Korea, he has taught EFL classes at every level. Brian is currently an English instructor at Youngsan University in Yangsan, South Korea.

Before Korea, Brian received his teacher training at the Academy of Urban School Leadership (AUSL) in Chicago, IL. While training to be a high school English teacher, Brian earned a Master’s in the Art of Teaching from National Louis University (MAT ’07). He then went on to teach English and language arts at Al Raby High School in the Chicago Public Schools. During his time at Al Raby, Brian earned a second master’s degree in curriculum from DePaul University (MA ’10).

Brian and his brother, Daniel, recently created an ESL/EFL website called myenglisheets.com. The mission of the website is to equip busy ESL/EFL teachers with free, high-quality, instructional materials and to provide students with relevant and authentic opportunities to speak English.

 Jennifer Gagliardi

Jennifer Gagliardi has been teaching ESL/Citizenship at Milpitas Adult School since 2002. In 2007, she launched US Citizenship Podcast which distributes citizenship resources and reports on the Citizenship and immigration news. In early 2016, she released the US Citizenship Podcast app on iPhone/iPad and Android. Jennifer is always looking for new ways to help students learn English and Civics so that we can live the American Dream together!
